A decorated Ballarat firefighter has received another two prestigious awards.
Commander Wayne Rigg of Fire Rescue Victoria received the Humanitarian Overseas Service Medal on Friday for his deployment to Canada in 2017.
The Commander also received the National Emergency Medal clasp for the 2019/ 2020 Black Summer fires.

It follows recognition in the Australia Day honours list in 2022 when Commander Rigg received the Australian Fire Service Medal for service to the community.
