Western United star Lachie Wales says confidence is high, as the team heads to Ballarat.
They’ll commence their trio of Ballarat games tomorrow, taking on Newcastle at Mars Stadium.
The Green and Black will be hoping to extend a six-game unbeaten streak against the Jets.
The team will then verse Adelaide United two weeks later and Wellington Phoenix a week after that.
Lachie says it’s good to have the first home game of the season in the city.
“It’s awesome to be back in Ballarat, we’ve got a good support group out there and since season one we’ve been going to Ballarat and we’ve actually got some good results there for the team,” he said.
“All the boys are looking forward, [there’s] good weather on the weekend so we’re hoping to see as many people out in Ballarat as we can.”
