The City of Ballarat is planning on spending close to a million dollars to create a more vibrant streetscape at the corner of Victoria and Albert Streets in Sebastopol.
The project aims to deliver a greener, safer, and more accessible precinct for Sebastopol residents and visitors.
Council says expect improved pedestrian access and connections, cycle paths, street furniture, trees and plants on the section of Albert Street from north of Birdwood Avenue to Ophir Street.
The project has been funded thanks to the State Government’s $5 million Spotlight on Sebastopol program.
If you’d like to see the latest plans a drop-in session is on offer, with council staff on site, this Thursday from 5pm at the Sebastopol Library.
