GWV Rebels announce boys squads for 2023

Both the under 18 and under 16 Greater Western Victoria Rebels squads have been announced ahead of the newly named Coates Talent League (formerly the NAB League).

The new recruits will be at home first up at Mars Stadium to take on arch rivals Bendigo on March 25.

All up 21 boys from Ballarat, and 43 in total from right across the western district have been selected.

The squad, listed below, consists of three 19 year olds, 21 top aged players (turning 18 in 2023) and 19
bottom aged players (turning 17 in 2023).

The Rebels will also be heading to Reid Oval, Warrnambool this year on July 29th against the Geelong
Falcons, the first time the Rebels have played in Warrnambool since 2014. They will also have 7 double
header games with the GWV Rebels girls across the course of the season.
