Join us for an inspiring afternoon of live music as the Ballarat Choral Society performs their winter concert program, The Joy of Singing, in the heart of Snake Valley.
Presented in the historic Carngham Memorial Uniting Church—a beautiful bluestone landmark built in 1893 and home to a rare Fincham & Hobday pipe organ—this performance pairs musical elegance with community spirit.
Under the direction of Helen Duggan, the choir will perform selections from Calvin Bowman’s An Elizabethan Song Book and John Rutter’s The Sprig of Thyme, offering a blend of classical sophistication and lyrical charm that’s sure to delight first-time audiences.
All proceeds will go toward the preservation of this culturally significant venue, ensuring that its legacy continues to resonate for generations to come.
Before the concert, mingle and appreciate the beauty, heritage and location of this unique venue, while enjoying a classic country afternoon tea. (included in ticket price)
